On the trade of Christopher Huet from Montreal to Washington, it was once said, "We didn't know if Ken Dryden could win us the cup, but we knew the guy we had in nets couldn't"...thus, is probably a good reason for Bob Gainey to make the trade...time will tell.

It was said that Mats Sundin didn't cancel his no trade clause with the Leafs because he simply didn't want to go through the play-off rigors and that that is why he is able to play so well in his mid 30's....with that said, I can't say I blame him.....he gets millions to play, with a team hoping he will get them to the play-offs. He fails to do so, get off work early and goes back to Sweden to spend his fortune. Smart guy that Mats Sundin!

Many teams showed interest in Marion Hossa. The Pittsburgh Penguins won the "lottery". The question is, "Will he deliver?". It's my guess he won't. So...who's the real winner here? Looks like the Florida Panthers duped all those interest and who better to know his net worth than the team he came from?
